Domains are time-limited registrations. Missing renewal or verification messages can eventually stop the website and email.
Steps
- Open the client area and go to Domains → My Domains. Check the status, expiry date and auto-renew setting for every important domain.
- Open the domain details and verify the registrant, administrative and technical contact information. Use an address you can access independently of the domain.
- Pay renewal invoices before their due date. A payment method stored on the account does not guarantee payment if the card expires or the transaction is declined.
- Respond promptly to registry or registrar verification messages. Check spam and create a reminder to review the domain details at least yearly.
- After renewal, confirm the new expiry date in the client area. If it does not change after payment is recorded, contact support with the invoice number.
Verify the result
The domain should show Active, a future expiry date and the intended auto-renew setting. Its contact email must receive messages.
Important: Expired domains may enter grace or redemption periods with extra fees, and recovery is not guaranteed. Renewal is different from a hosting invoice.
