Hosting cancellation, domain non-renewal and data deletion are separate actions. Export everything first.
Steps
- Download website files, databases, mail and needed invoices; verify the archives.
- Move DNS, website and mail to the replacement provider and test before cancellation.
- Open the hosting service in the client area and submit its formal cancellation request with the intended timing.
- Review each domain separately. Keep auto-renew enabled if the domain must remain registered, or disable it only when you accept expiry.
- After confirmation, remove stored credentials and keep the backup for the required retention period.
Verify the result
The cancellation request should name only the intended service; domains that must remain should still show Active with future expiry.
Important: Cancellation can permanently delete server data. A backup inside the cancelled account is not a safe copy.
