Design a WordPress site with a block theme and Site Editor Print

  • 0

Block themes let you design headers, footers, templates and global styles without editing code.

Steps

  1. Take a backup, then open Appearance → Themes → Add New and filter for block themes.
  2. Preview and activate the chosen theme in staging first.
  3. Open Appearance → Editor. Set global colors, typography and layout under Styles.
  4. Edit Navigation, Header and Footer template parts; use List View to understand nested blocks.
  5. Build pages with patterns, check mobile/tablet previews and save only the intended template changes.

Verify the result

Test navigation, contrast, forms, keyboard use and several screen sizes; export the theme changes when available.

Important: Changing themes can hide old widgets or menus. Keep the previous theme installed until the new design is verified.
